Hi I’m Audrey and I am a 1st year on the Raiderettes! I am a driven, resilient, hardworking girl with a passion for dance and caring about my teammates. When I’m not dancing I enjoy my gym time, studying nutrition, and working in corporate as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. The most important thing I value is to have an identity, make an impact, and motivate others to be the best versions of themselves, inside and out.
My journey to the NFL is something I cherish with all of me, it is a part of me. The drive I had to make this team came from my love for dance, and being inspired by the Raiderettes for years. But more importantly, their coach Tiphanie Mcniff was the most important puzzle piece. Mcniff saw my potential from a young age, always supporting me, encouraging me, and motivating me to push through hard times. As a competition dancer, I always had my sights set on making it to the NFL, specifically the Raiderettes. Everything about this team is impeccable: the athletic ability, diversity, community service, positivity, and impact these athletes have. The Raiderettes truly put a new meaning to “cheerleading”. This is the hardest professional dance team to become a part of in the league, and I knew I wanted to see my dream come to life. I worked every single day to be the best I could be inside and out. I worked in the gym, on my flexibility, public speaking, my studies, all while being the captain of a division 1 cheerleading team in college. I even had my solo routine planned out a year in advance… Some may say that’s crazy, but I knew what I wanted, and nothing was going to stop me. Dance has always made me want to push myself and do better, taking every day as an opportunity to improve. What I appreciate most is how it humbles me everyday, that I’m never at the top. Something can always be learned, new goals can be set, and new heights can be reached.
Things never came easy to me. I grew up getting picked on, bullied, it got so bad to where I even had to transfer schools. Being able to navigate through new states and places was tough at a young age, making new friends, teammates, and teachers. But the one constant in my life was always my love for dance. There came a time where everything was taken from me and I had nothing; I even told my mom “I think I'm going to stop dancing” followed by “I think I want to go pro!” a week later. I made every course in college, and every experience, centered around this dream, and team. I made my school projects related to Las Vegas, and my sports reporting classes centered around the Raiders. Making this team was more than being an NFL Cheerleader; to me, it was coming home again. Mcniff continues to inspire many previous and current team members to be their best, in her endeavors and experiences as a leader. Little did Las Vegas know they would be taken by storm by hiring an inspiration to make the Raiderettes the iconic team they are today. In my journey to the NFL, I maintained a strong passion for excellence within myself, and my future. The standards were set, and I knew this is the path I saw for myself. I moved out to Las Vegas the summer of 2023, living on a cot in my friend’s living room, all to train at Raiderettes The Studio and pursue an internship in Digital Marketing. I can proudly say that one year later now in the summer of 2024, I have a full time position as a Digital marketing Coordinator, and I am a Raiderette.
When the Apolla performance comes in, I not only feel supported by my team, but my feet feel the love in my journey. Being able to feel the support of these compression socks really helps me continue training to be my best. All the hours on my feet, working out and training, becomes worth it when I’m able to feel comforted through my movement. The no show sock is perfect for when I'm wearing my sneakers or tennis shoes, and I definitely value them as a staple for feeling comforted! Thank you, Apolla!
